Storytime

Storytime, including fingerplays, songs, and stories, is offered on Wednesdays at 10:30 am. Storytime during the school year is geared toward 2-4 year olds with a caregiver, but all ages of kids, from babies through older siblings are welcome to attend.  Storytime is followed by playtime with educational toys for creative play in the Blue Activity Room. 

This program is for families and groups of fewer than 8 unrelated kids.  Larger daycares, preschools or other organizations interested in storytime, are asked to please call ahead to the youth desk at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for options. 

*Please note that in the case of severe weather, the library will follow the school district's lead for cancellation of programs (i.e. if school is cancelled or delayed due to severe weather, library programs will also be cancelled.)
