Our film series for adults continues on Monday, August 26 at 2:00pm in the library's community meeting rooms. The library will show the film Quigley Down Under (1990). The film series will continue every fourth Monday of the month at 2:00pm.
Quigley Down Under is a 1990 Western starring Tom Selleck as an American frontiersmen and sharpshooter who travels down to Australia in the mid-19th century to accept a job from a wealthy rancher (Alan Rickman). The film was directed by Simon Wincer.
Join our film critic, Tom LaVille, for a great discussion after the movie, as well as free popcorn and lemonade. This event is free and open to the public, aged 18 and over. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library.
