Stop by to see the Iowa State University Solar Car team’s fifteenth competition car, Eliana, which will be parked in the Library's parking lot. The car is a two-seater with an infotainment system and has been in two races so far.

PRE-REGISTER: Explore the impact of an oil spill and experiment with different ways to clean-up this kind of environmental disaster, with Emerson staff and volunteers at this free annual Emerson "We Love STEM" event.

There will not be a storytime today on the West Lawn---but families are still invited to come by for a picnic style summer lunch (back up for rain is large meeting room.) We'll serve on the lawn starting at 11:00 am---and then take lunches inside

Library staff will take half hour appointments to answer questions or assist with personal devices. Appointments will be available every Thursday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

You're invited to a come-and-go relaxing art open house to "bling" out your binder (1 inch binders provided, as supplies last) or notebook in whatever style you like, by decorating the insert that slides into the front sleeve or gluing/sticking it

Social worker will meet with the public to provide assistance.

Play Day in the Blue Activity room offers kids the chance for imaginative play with the castle, kitchen set, dollhouse, big legos, and playsets, and more. Stop in for unplugged fun.
