Event Details

Join us again for Family Fun on the Lawn this summer on Wednesday mornings at the library! Today at this active storytime, explore lots of sounds, through hands-on experiences with musical instruments, from drums and other percussion instruments, to a trumpet and trombone, strings instruments, and more! Each kid can also choose a shaker to take home, and get ideas for other recyclable instruments they can make at home. 

Come a little early to play with balance boards or hula hoops, and stay for summer lunch (free sack lunch for any child ages 1-18 years) afterwards. 

Families and groups with fewer than 8 kids are welcome to come to storytime with no registration required. Other groups (daycares, daycamps, etc.) should call the youth desk at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for options.
