Program Description
Event Details
A fun exploratory program for school-aged kids all about money. Have fun with money, including learning a magic trick, trying out $1 bill origami, with a brand new crisp dollar bill, and decorate a piggy bank. Thanks for Members First Credit Union for helping us to offer this program, which will also feature some ideas of good books to check out. This free program requires pre-registration, and is strictly limited to school-aged (K-12th grades) kids. For families with little ones, the Blue Activity room will be available for playtime (with the parent or caregiver) while an older child attends the Money program. Kids at least 8 years old and older may be dropped off for the program; school-aged children younger than 8 need to have a caregiver remain in the library building.
(As always, online registration is limited to families; if you are a teacher or program coordinator interested in registering a non-family/daycare/program group of kids, please contact the youth desk at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for space.)
