Event Details

All Aboard! Train Storytime, including fingerplays, songs, and stories, will be offered at 10:30 am. This special Sunday Storytime is geared toward 2-5 year olds with a caregiver, but all ages of kids, from babies through older siblings are welcome to attend. 

No pre-registration is needed for families or groups of fewer than 8 kids; preschools or other organizations wanting to bring a group to storytime are asked to call ahead to the youth desk at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for options. 

Be sure to stop into the large meeting room before or after storytime (or both!) to see the many trains on display from the Central Iowa Model Train Club during our annual December model train exhibit. The hours for this exhibit are Friday, December 13, 5-6:30, Saturday, December 14, 1-4:30 pm,and Sunday, December 15, 1-3:30 pm
