Library staff will take half hour appointments to answer questions or assist with personal devices. Appointments will be available every Thursday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

Our film series for adults continues on Monday, June 24 at 2:00pm in the library's community meeting rooms. The library will show the film The Lion King (1994). The film series will continue every fourth Monday of the month at 2:00pm.

Join us in the large meeting room at the library for a magic show for school-aged kids. Iowa magician, Mikayla Oz, has been featured on the Travel Channel's Magic Caught on Camera Show and Penn & Tellers: Try This at Home TV Special.

The Marshalltown Public Library will hold a paper quilled greeting cards workshop on Thursday, June 27 at 5:30pm in the library’s community meeting rooms, presented by Emily Mallory of Emily’s Papercrafts.

Join Do Art Productions to learn about drawing comics, making comic books, and make your own.

Come to our Meet & Greet with "life size" Roxy the Raptor, Doddi the Dilophosaurus, and Angus the Carnotaurus, plus see some cute baby dinsoaurs. Stop in for a picture with a dinosaur or two and check out our many awesome dinosaur books!

The library Board of Trustees meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in Community Meeting Room B. The public is welcome to attend.
