Storytime is held on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and features stories, songs, and fingerplays on a theme + this week, a chance to meet an adoptable animal from the Animal Rescue League. Babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and children of all ages are welcome to attend with a caregiver. In the early fall, as weather permits, we'll meet on the West Lawn (or in the Blue Room, in the case of weather issues) with playtime afterward.
*This program is for families and groups of fewer than 8 unrelated kids. Larger daycares or preschools interested in storytime, please call 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for options.
Storytime is mostly held year round, with the exception of the months of May and August (and a week or two around the winter holidays). Storytime is free and does not require registration (with the exception of larger groups, as mentioned above.)
