This class (changed to a Zoom webinar due to the weather this week), will be presented by Joa (youth services librarian) and focus on sharing tips to get the most out of the library. Geared to homeschoolers, content will include some basics about how to get the search results you want on the library catalog, how to request books (including when planning ahead for a learning term), as well as a brief overview of some other resources and services the library offers that you may not be aware of.

Anyone interested in promoting learning at home is welcome, whether you are a parent who is homeschooling full-time or another adult (parent, grandparent, educational professional) who are interested in resources for enrichment. Please contact us via email at libraryyouth@marshalltown-ia.gov to receive the Zoom link. This program will be geared toward adults; students who are tween or teens who would be interested are welcome, as well. Feel free to call 641-754-5738-, ext. 3 with questions, or if you have a group interested in scheduling something similar.
