Mario Gaming Party: 1st - 4th grade

This free Mario-themed gaming event will offer youth the chance to play different Mario video games (on Nintendo Switch) as well as do some hands-on Mario-themed activities in between gaming turns. This free program is being offered in partnership with the esports students of Marshalltown Community College. 

Pre-registration is required, either by filling out the registration link here, or by asking at the youth desk (in person or at 641-754-5738, ext. 3). Please NOTE: there are two events listed on the online calendar. This one is for 1st through 4th grade and there is a different registration for participants who are 5th grade through teen. Please be sure to register for the correct age group. 

During this event, the Blue Activity Room will be available for imaginative play for younger siblings in families who want to remain in the building while an older child is participating in the gaming event. Please be aware that due to the high energy and attendance expected, the meeting room will be limited to the registered youth (with an exception for a parent/caregiver who feels it is necessary to remain with the registered child.)
