Event Details

The library will be hosting some paste paper collage workshops with artist Julie Bousum on Sunday, October 12. The kids and families session will be from 1:30-2:30pm and the session for adults will be from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Pre-registration is required so that we have enough supplies for all participants. 

The paste paper collage session for adults will include a demonstration by Bousum of how to create paste paper and the opportunity for adults to create their own sheet of paste paper. Adults will also have the opportunity to use already made paste paper to create their own collage--bring some pictures for inspiration for your collage. 

Julie Bousum is a retired art and speech teacher that has worked in the Marshalltown, GMG, and Meskwaki school districts. 

This program is free and open to the public, aged 18 and over, thanks to a Local Artist Innovation Grant from the Arts + Culture Alliance and the Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library.
