The Absolute Science Bubble Workshop stations will offer the opportunity to kids of all ages to make giant bubbles and watch them float away. This "come and go" activity is free and open to anyone interested. The Bubble Party was planned to coincide with the CAPS Healthy Family Fair offered on the grounds and in the parking lot at the library. (Attendees may park in the Emerson Parking Lot to the east of the library building or in parking spots along the streets surrounding.)
Please note: the main library does not open until 1 pm, but the lobby, with access to restrooms and drinking fountain, will be open during the event.
The Bubble Party is exclusively an outdoor activity, so in the case of rain or severe weather, the Bubble Party will need to be cancelled, while the Healthy Family Fair booths will be moved inside to the large meeting room and lobby area.
This free for all ages special activity is planned by the Marshalltown Library, with funds from the Martha Ellen Tye Foundation.
