Our friends from ISU Extension will offer a free, fun hands-on STEAM (Science Technology Engineering, Art, & Math!) program for school-aged kids in the large meeting room: Scream for Ice Cream! Pre-registration is required.

This program is planned to coincide with the timing of storytime on the West Lawn for younger ones, so families with kids of all ages can bring the school-agers for this program which starts at 10 am, and enjoy playtime on the lawn prior to the 10:30-11 am storytime. Free summer lunch (for kids ages 1-18 years) will be offered at 11 am for those wanting to enjoy a picnic lunch afterwards.
