Family-friendly musician Duke Otherwise will perform a free show on the West Lawn. Please bring a blanket or towel to sit on. Lawn chairs are allowed toward the edges and back of the ground-seated crowd.

Duke Otherwise is a playful wordsmith, a spirited performer, a skilled guitarist and captivating tap-dancer.  Using his distinct baritone, he sings his hilarious and imaginative songs that all ages will delight in together.

From Madison, WI, Duke plays nearly 150 shows a year throughout the midwest and beyond; in libraries, schools, living rooms, churches, theatres, festivals, and fairs.  His energetic live show is filled with improvisation, audience participation, dancing, and outrageous fun!

This program is free and open to any child or family who is interested, as well as daycares or youth groups bringing 8 or fewer kids. As is library policy, daycares and other groups who'd like to bring more than 8 kids are required to contact the youth desk at 641-754-5738, ext. 3 to check for space.
