Come and enjoy a party on the lawn planned especially for babies and their families. We'll have a couple of songs and fingerplays just right for babies and toddlers, a chance to snuggle or take a photo with Paz our giant library panda, and look at touch and feel and sturdy board books with moving parts and flaps. Grown-ups can find out about our summer reading activities and online challenges (for all ages), and get a free book to keep by signing up. This will be a relaxing chance to connect with the library staff and other families, ahead of the bigger crowds, right before school gets out in Marshalltown.
Preschoolers and older siblings of babies and toddlers are welcome to attend with their families. Doll and stuffed animal "babies" are welcome. This program is free and requires no pre-registration.
