Did you know October is Arts & Humanities month? To celebrate, the library is hosting an altered books program!
Take an old book that has outlived its usefulness or timeliness, and use it as a canvas for artwork or as the basis of a sculptural or functional object!
To participate, sign up at the library's Information Desk. We have books you can choose from, or you could use your own book, a thrifted book, etc.
Return your project to the Information Desk before 7:00pm on Thursday, October 24 if you would like it displayed at the Altered Books Reception.
The reception will be on Friday, October 25 at 5:30pm - participants' projects will be on display, and there will be refreshments served. See you there!
